Informative and inspiring
This gives many angles and paths to publishing, not just the preferred one. It doesn’t tell you what path to take, it enables you to ask yourself the right questions in order to be informed enough to choose. The practical advice is super and is easily transferable to any business plan and implementation or indeed, life that I believe anyone will take something positive from this book, not just a new author. It should be recommended to university students as the added planning advice is perfect! Even if you choose the completely solo or house approach, there is so much that becomes accessible to you from the author that it’s worth the investment. I would also recommend this if you are simply embarking on some personal creative writing as it really helps to get the best out of yourself and therefore builds confidence. So much so, you may just decide you like to publish!
Read this book FIRST
Looking for something that will help you write your own story? This is a brilliant book with clear information and tons of advice. If you think starting to write a book is just getting on with 'putting pen to paper' and starting, then you need to think again and read this book FIRST.

I'm not sure if I have a book in me to write, so hoping this book will help me find out!
Comprehensive, candid and compelling
Abigail tells a great story from idea to publication to launch and so much more. The book covers everything -it's so comprehensive. Makes me wish I'd found this book before writing my own. Though there were still lots of nuggets for me as I've still to publish my book. And want to write another. It's the kind of book you want to go back to over and over again. I love Abigail's open and candid writing style. I felt like she was talking directly to me. I highly recommend this book. It's compelling reading indeed!
Very Comprehensive and Easy To Read
As soon as I downloaded the book I had a quick read of the intro and was hooked. Straight away Abi makes you feel comfortable and makes you feels like writing your own book is actually achievable. I’m only a few chapters in but so far the structure and breakdown of ALL the different elements that you need to complete for a success book seem possible to put into action. I can’t wait to start brainstorming my book ideas!
